LIPBLUSH INSTRUCTIONS

PRE- CARE FOR LIPS

- If you have experienced cold sores before, be sure to begin your prescription strength antiviral  like Valtrex, contact your doctor or dentistfor prescription. Mandatory if you get cold sores.

- Do not work out the morning of the procedure.

- NO alcohol, caffeine or stimulants 24 hours before the procedure. 

- Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil/Ibuprofen 48 hours before the procedure (Extra Strength Tylenol is good)

- Avoid Fish Oil, Primrose Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, Nutritional Shakes (Shakeology, etc), "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements for a minimum of 48 hours prior to procedure.

- Discontinue Retin-A, and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) at least 3 weeks prior.

-Lip fillers?  Must wait a minimum of  3 weeks after lip fillers and 3 weeks after touch-up at least for next lip filler if itvhas been a while.

- Exfoliate (sugar scrub) and hydrate (Aquaphor or Vaseline) your lips the week leading up to your appointment.

- Drink plenty of fluids the week prior to your procedure.

Please Note: You will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.

POST CARE FOR LIPS WILL BE GIVEN AT FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH A TO-GO PACKET
